Who is responsible
The company named in the imprint is the controller for the processing described here.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Germany. The host records technical access data such as the requesting IP address, so that the site can be delivered and protected against attack. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning site.
Opening announcement
If you ask to be told when we open, we store your email address, and your first name and city if you give them. We send a confirmation email first and only add you once you press the button in it. We record the time, the wording you agreed to and the IP address used, so that we can prove the signup was genuine. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link in every message.
Contact form
If you write to us we store your name, your email address and your message so that we can answer. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and the performance of pre-contractual steps where your message concerns an order.
Email measurement
For the opening announcement we record whether the message was opened and whether links in it were used, so we can tell whether the announcement worked. This applies only to announcement email, never to confirmations or replies. The legal basis is your consent.
Spam protection
Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. It works without advertising cookies and without profiling.
How long we keep things
An unconfirmed signup is deleted after 30 days. The IP address stored as proof of consent is deleted after 12 months. A confirmed signup is kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only what is needed to make sure we do not email you again. Enquiries are deleted after 24 months.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to a supervisory authority. Write to the address in the imprint.
